A group of DPR troops advancing in the direction of Petrovsky advanced another 10 kilometers and captured the settlements of Starognatovka, Oktyabrskaya and Pavlopol.'

- rebels and Russians claim that there were 150,000 Ukrainian forces there
- Russian MoD said that 59,300 were on the front lines
- that leaves 90,000+ in support
- apparently about a third each of this 90,000 are based around Kharkov and Mariupol, the two end anchors of this force'
